Hi, I'm Crystal Mitchell, a Business Coach, Educator, and Speaker
Welcome to my Online Learning Network! I am your instructor and I am very excited to begin building this online learning community. Creating an e-course has been on my bucket list for several years, and finally, it seems that the stars all have lined up and I here I am.
So Why an E-Course?
Well, I have taught, coached, and trained youth, individuals looking for new careers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. In my live classs I teach small groups of 25- 40 students, but the need is far greater.
Over the years the feedback I have received has been "I want to attend your classes, but the timing doesn't work, or the meeting location is too far, are you ever going to do an online course?"
I have helped many small business owners create the business of their dreams, establish solid financial foundations and strategic marketing plans to grow their business.
We know that COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work overnight. What we don’t know is how the subsequent health and economic crises will evolve, and what mindset changes will arise.
One thing is certain, however: to emerge successfully from the current crisis, organizations will need to nurture our digital, cognitive, social and emotional, and adaptability and resilience skill sets.
Even before COVID-19, revolutions in technologies, consumer preferences, and business models were affecting the global workforce. The virus has accelerated and intensified this and is forcing leaders to shift their organization’s crisis operations while fundamentally reimagining strategies and business models.
In fact, as early as 2017 a McKinsey Global Institute analysis estimated that 14 percent of the global workforce will need to be reskilled entirely, and 40 percent will need partial reskilling to continue with their current occupations.
Two of the big drivers are:
Online collaboration: the online internet makes it easy for people to work together, without meeting in person subscription software: independent contractors can use enterprise-level software for a small monthly fee Do you know what every business needs? Someone to do books!
If you’re a person who enjoys organization and possesses decent math skills, that someone could be you!
